Clean Sweep Supply Company was founded in September of 1978 by Fred and Susan Morad as a janitorial supplier to local communities. They worked out of a 750 square foot unit in a small business complex off of San Fernando Road in Glendale California where they began to build a dream. Their first month sales was $2,500.00, and it steadily increased until they were able to hire their first employee a year later (Juan Sanchez), who is still working with Clean Sweep Supply today.
The company continued to grow slowly from one unit to three, eventually outgrowing their old location. The company moved to a much larger place not far from the original location where it continued to grow by adding new suppliers and more products. In 1999 the Morad’s saw the need to expand and the company moved to a 36,000 square foot facility in Commerce California. The company continued to grow by establishing a stable customer base throughout Southern California. Our customers include major cleaning contractors, hospitals, municipalities, and the education sector.
Once again in 2006 the company had outgrown their old facility and moved to a nearby facility in Montebello California. Today, Clean Sweep Supply Company operates out of their company owned distribution facility where it continues to grow with the addition of suppliers as Kimberly-Clark, SCA, Clorox, Gojo, Rubbermaid, and many more.
Clean Sweep Supply, which operates with a knowledgeable sales force, 8 delivery trucks, 1 tractor trailer, and 30 employees (whom a number of them have been with the company for over 20 years) make it possible to service over 1200 customers on a weekly basis throughout Southern and Northern California. The company is presently run by Sina Salamat CEO and President, who started with the company in his early twenties, and has been integral in growing the company into what it is today.
Our stock range currently exceeds 4500 lines ranging from mops, brooms, and buckets to vacuum cleaners, chemicals, toilet tissue and hand towels.
